COVERAGE OPTIONS
Transportation Expense Yes, with comprehensive coverage. Additional days of coverage are available after settlement. Add it to collision coverage and pick from five classes of rental car options. 4 A daily dollar limit and the payment ends upon the settlement.
Road Service Yes, reasonable towing and required labor costs at the site where your car breaks down. 5 Typically, only up to a certain dollar amount.
New Car Protection Yes, If your new vehicle (up to 24 months old) is a total loss after an accident, it will be replaced with a new vehicle of the latest model year. 6 Limited. It may only be available for the first year after the vehicle is purchased. With ERIE, it’s up to two years.
Better Car Protection Yes. If your car (24 months+) is totaled, it can cover the balance of an auto loan (but not carry-over balances), or it can replace an older car with a vehicle two years newer. 6 Limited. The coverage replaces your older car with a vehicle just one model year newer. ERIE replaces with a model two years newer.
VEHICLE OPTIONS
Additional/Replacement Autos or Trailers Yes, automatic coverage to the end of policy period on the owned vehicles that we insure. Usually limited to only 30 days.
Miscellaneous Vehicles Yes. When you insure a miscellaneous vehicle like a motorcycle with us and you buy a second one (has to be a similar type), automatic coverage applies to the end of the policy period. Usually limited to only 30 days.
Coverage for Non-owned Autos Yes, covers cars, moving vans (used for personal use), trailers or temporary substitutes. Usually doesn’t include moving vans.
